As announced in a press conference last July in Khao Yai, Thailand proudly accepted the honor to host the Miss Earth 2011. Please note that the date and venue of the competition was changed to Saturday, December 03, 2011 at Impact Arena Muang Thong Thani in Bangkok.
The theme of the Miss Earth this year's "Smile for the Earth, for all '. Coincides with the International Year of the forest, staging of the Miss Earth will be on display this year's big rich culture of Thailand, tourist attractions, and, more importantly, the efforts their saving and environmental protection.
Delegates will arrive on November 20, 2011, and November 22, 2011, a conference with all the contestants of Miss Earth 2011 will be held. The next day, November 23, the contestants will join together to offer their best wishes on the occasion of 84th birthday of His Majesty the King, and will celebrate this special day through concerts and pageantry.
November 26, 2011, contestants will be divided into three groups to carry out His Majesty's birthday and raise environmental awareness in the three provinces of Chiang Mai, Udon Thani and Phang Nga.
